Juvenile law includes cases where minors are charged with crimes, but most juvenile cases in Iowa are “CINA” cases in which the Iowa Department of Human Services petitions a court to remove children from their caretakers – usually their parents.
This is obviously a confusing and frightening time for most parents, and they need someone with experience on their side.
I have worked with the IDHS on hundreds of cases. I know when to work with them and when to stand up to them. If your children are removed from your care, I will give you the guidance and the representation you need to get them back in your home as quickly as possible.
